How to Get Traffic to a New Blog?

Boost Web Traffic
Many of newbie bloggers or even the people who started to blogging a while ago quit blogging just because they don’t see any traffic from their blogs. The blogosphere is a big and busy world with over 100 million blogs and growing. How do you attract visitors to your blog? Follow these simple tips to drive traffic to your blog.

How the blogger boost the traffic to a new Blog?

1)    Catchy Title and Niche Content

Post Title
Simply follow the rule (Write well and write often). Start posting useful and interesting posts and consider that your post should have a catchy title to make the visitor start reading your post and consider the niche content to make the visitor keep reading it.
Second thing here is to frequently and always update your blog with useful and interesting content because this is the first step of boosting the traffic. Cause be sure that the visitor will come back for more if you do that.
Furthermore, posting frequently would increase the number of chances you have for your blog’s content to be noticed by search engine

2)    Blog Comments

When we are talking about Blogs, then we are talking about commentsCommenting is a simple and essential tool to increase your blog's traffic.
I would write a post about the importance and some tips regarding blog comments but for now just follow these tips:
  • Respond to comments on your blog to show the readers that you care and you value their opinions and make it like a two-way conversation and that will increase the reader loyalty.
  • Leave comments on others blog to drive new traffic. And make sure that it’s a valuable comment and don’t spam others blogs by leaving one liner comments.
  • Leave your blog URL in your comment to create a back link to your blog. If your comment was interesting and meaningful the other blog commenter’s will most likely visit your blog.
  • Comment on the top blogs in your niche and try to be in the first 5 commenter.Subscribe to their RSS Feeds to get the posts once they post it and then comment on their posts. Comment on the blogs of your nicheYou can get the top blogs in your niche if you search in Google for (“Your niche+Blogs”) Ex. Blogging +Blogs

3)    RSS Feed

RSS Feed
As we mentioned before to subscribe to others feed in the blogs of your niche, have to set up an RSS   feed button on your blog makes it easy for your loyal readers to not just read your blog but also know when you publish new content and that leads them back to your blog.

4)    Spend time on writing detailed articles.

You think that you are going to bring quality traffic without much effort?
I think it’s time to quit thinking that way. You need to be unique and be different from the others to become successful and to survive in the blogosphere. I know it takes time to create some quality content but believe me it worth it. Don’t spend your whole time posting normal or average 600 words  posts. Try to spend some more time to create great content and write detailed posts with 1000+ words once in an awhile. If you are a part time blogger then just try at least to write 1000+ words post once a month. This kind of posts will bring quality traffic to your blog.

5)    Blogroll

Use and update your blogroll by adding links to sites you like in it, the owners of those blogs will find your blog and will be likely to add a reciprocal link in their blogrolls. It's an easy way to get the link to your blog in front of many readers on other blogs. The hope is that some of those readers will click on the link to your blog on the other blogs' blogrolls and find your content interesting and enjoyable turning them into loyal readers.

6)    Network with others

Social Networks
The magic word for boosting the traffic is NETWORK. The more and the large networks the blogger got the more traffic they would have.
We will write detailed articles about social bookmarking, social networks and social media web sites to help you get traffic to your web site but for now start singing up for those and take time to submit your best posts to social bookmarking sites such as Digg,StumbleUponReddit and more cause this is the simple way to quickly boost traffic to your blog.
And of course make an account on Facebook and twitter. It’s easy to follow and let others follow you and so easy to spread a word. These Social Networks consider one of the most important ways to boost the traffic so it’s time to start BEING SOCIAL. J

Facebook: Join in Groups... Promote yourself out there... Facebook will get you a huge traffic with less effort. You may find it difficult in the beginning but when you start promoting others content and   when you get to know each other on Facebook, it becomes very easy!

Twitter: Follow top bloggers in your niche and follow their followers. This is the simple yet effective way of increasing your targeted twitter followers. Once you have done this, you can tweet your new articles and ask your followers to retweet it.
Always try to retweet and promote your fellow bloggers before asking them to promote your content. This can make others to promote your content sooner or later and you will have high chances of getting their attention if they find it useful.

7)    Video Marketing:

Video Marketing
Create shot length videos and add your blog link at the starting
Submit them to YouTube, metacafe etc. We will write a detailed article about video marketing cause it's extremely important and very powerful way to boost the traffic to any website.

8)    Remember Search Engine Optimization

SEO
Don’t forget SEO, when you write your blog posts and pages, remember to optimize your pages for search engines to find them. Most people say forget about SEO (Search Engine Optimization) when you’re just starting out. I think that’s the dumbest suggestion!
You need to include relevant keywords and links, and do proper keyword analysis before you’re writing the articles. Then embed them into your posts. But don't overload your posts with too many relevant keywords or completely irrelevant keywords. Doing so can be considered spamming and could have negative results such as your blog being removed from Google's search entirely. It’s extremely important to bring organic (search engine) traffic to your blog. Because it’s free and highly effective!
If you’re a beginner then this is enough! Don’t go beyond, you’ll better understand about SEO when you’re spending more time on blogging.

9)    Use Links and Trackbacks

Linking
Links are one of the most powerful parts of your blog. Not only are links noticed by search engines, but they also act as a tap on the shoulder to other bloggers who can easily identify who is linking to their sites. Linking helps to get you noticed by other bloggers who are likely to investigate the sites that are linking to them. This may lead them to become new readers of your blog or to add links to your blog from theirs.
You can take links to other blogs a step further by leaving a trackback on the other blog to let them know you've linked to them. Blogs that allow trackbacks will include a link back to your blog in the comments section of the post that you originally linked to. People do click on trackback links!

10) Tag Your Posts

It takes a few extra seconds to add tags to each of your blog posts, but it's worth the time in terms of the additional traffic tags can drive to your blog. Tags (like links) are easily noticed by search engines. They're also a key to helping readers find your blog when they perform searches on popular blog search engines such as Technorati.

11) Don't Forget Images

Images don't just make your blog look pretty; they also help people find you in search engine listings. People often use the image search options offered by Google, Yahoo! and other search engines, and naming your images with search engine optimization in mind can easily boost your traffic.

12) Consider Guest Blogging

Guest blogging can be done when you write a guest post on another blogger's blog or when another blogger writes a guest post on your blog. Both methods are likely to increase traffic as your blog will be exposed to the other blogger's audience. Many of the other blogger's readers will visit your blog to see what you have to say. But I would recommend this way when you have an online reputation  Major reason is without having any online reputation you can’t cope up with other bloggers to get accepted your guest posts. When they reject you, you’ll feel down to submit another guest post to them.

13) Promote Outside Your Blog

Promoting your blog shouldn't stop when you step outside the blogosphere. Add your blog's URL to your email signature and business cards. Talk about it in offline conversations. It's important to get your name and your blog's URL noticed offline, too.

14) Nominate Yourself and Other Blogs for Blog Awards

There are a number of blog awards given out throughout the year. Nominating yourself and other blogs and bloggers can draw attention to your blog and drive traffic to it.

15) Don't Be Shy

The most important part of the blogosphere is its community and much of your success as a blogger will be tied to your willingness to network with that community. Don't be afraid to ask questions, join conversations or just say hi and introduce yourself. Don't sit back and hope the

12 Steps To Make More Money From AdSense Without Getting Banned

| |

Google AdSense
Does anyone argue about the face that Google AdSense ads are the most popular way for the bloggers to make money from their blogs? I guess not.
Of course Google AdSense Ads are on the top of the other competitors and that’s for many reasons one of them that

The formula used by Google AdSense ads to target the users of your site is a huge selling point.
Google AdSense can generate ads on the any subject and display them to the users.
The other very important reason that Google AdSense have the highest PPC (Paying Per Click) rates.
Of course there are some other competitors but it’s an option used by people who were rejected or banned by Google AdSense.

Once you decide to use Google AdSense in your blog or website, you will try most likely to find more about it and search for (“AdSense Tips”) or (“Using AdSense”), then you gonna face couple of completely different angel on the subject.
One of them that you will find people sells their E-Books and courses about the Google AdSense secrets and how to make millions from it.
Second thing you are going to find articles from people is very upset and full of anger because their accounts blocked or banned and all their earnings forfeited.

So the two questions rise here:

1-Can those course sellers and those guys who sell AdSense secrets and formulas make you rich from it?

I would answer you simply, if it is that great and they made millions out of it then they would retire with the money they made and will never try to sell it for you for only 20$.

2-Second important question is why the Google AdSense Accounts getting shutdown is or blocked?

That’s a really more interesting question, when Google do that and leave just blanks instead of the ads.
, they don’t need to explain themselves in any way cause most of the cases happened cause the people think that they could cheat on the system and most the cases happened because of the breaking of AdSense T.O.S, but it always hard to be rejected with no explanation.

So let’s take on how to maximize your earnings from Google AdSense without getting breaking the AdSense T.O.S and getting your account shut down.

The Six AdSense Do's

1) Display Your AdSense Ads Above The Fold :

Google Adsense Do's
Above the fold area is the areas that any one visiting your site will be seeing it without having to do any scroll down.

Most of the people online when they search for something, they need instant result and when if they land on a page and it’s not their liking they will move once to another one without giving your site a second glance

So if they are going to leave. So why don’t I put the Ads above the fold cause they might generate some cash for you in the leaving process.

Also worth to mention here that it’s essential to have subscription option like Rss links above the fold cause the visitor might subscribe to come back later.

2) Use the best AdSense units

According to AdSense and to many people who spent lots of time tracking their ads, it was very clear to them that the large units (336x280 large rectangle and 300x250 medium rectangle) are the best units and the best preforming ads.

3) Report to Google if you see anything suspicious

If you notice anything suspicious like IP Addresses, referral etc. You can report it to Google in Invalid ClicksContact Form

4) Integrate ads with your content

For example if your blog or website uses a green background then use a green background for your ads, if the titles on your blog or website are black then use black titles for your AdSense units. I have found that setting the URLs of the ad units to blue is the most effective as most links on the web are blue by default.

5)  Track your ads

This may not be something you will want to do right off the bat but you can use ad filters and channels to track which ads are generating the most clicks. You can also connect your AdSense account with your Google Analytics account and look deeper into the performance of your AdSense.

6) Have at least one unit display text ads only

When you create an AdSense unit the default setting is for that unit to display both text and image ads. But the nature of your site can determine what type ads whether text or image work best. But there is an interesting question here which is:
Have you ever been on one of your pages and all three AdSense units are showing the same image ad?
I guess you have seen that very often and in this case if the visitor doesn’t click the first Ad they are not going to click the second Ad for the very same product. So , for that reason it’s preferred that you have one unit for the test Ads only so to make sure that you have different Ads for different products on your web site.

These were some few tips about what you should take care of when you are using or planning to use Google AdSense to increase your earnings.so now let’s take a look on the things you should never do.
Google AdSense Don'ts

The Six AdSense Don'ts

1) Never ever click your own ads

Google was quite clear about that, they know your I.P and they know it’s you and they will not tolerate with that… so just don’t do it and never do it.

2) Never ask someone to click your ads

Yes even if you in some country and your friend is in another country. Just don’t ask your friends to click your ads. If Google smell something odd with few clicks on your site they will know about it.

3) Never place anything near your ads that would invite a click

Never place images and texts around the Ads inviting people to click them or this will sure get you banned. Also try to make your images away from your AdSense. Simply stick to Ad placement policies

4) Don't change the AdSense code

Do not make any changes to AdSense code in any way, basically you are not allowed to add anything to, or remove anything from the code you generate in your AdSense account.

5) Don't forget to have a privacy policy

One of the terms set in AdSense T.O.S is the requirement for all sites using their ads to have a Privacy Policy page. We will cover that in a separate post.

6) Two more that deserve a mention

Don't submit a site containing AdSense to traffic exchanges for example Traffic Swarm or Smiley Traffic it is against the AdSense T.O.S. - Don't use AdSense ads on adult sites or sites of an adult nature.
If you have any specific questions you can drop a comment below or look for help in the Official Google AdSense Forum.

Remember you can use all these steps, but if your site is not getting traffic there will be no one there to click the ads so work on building a quality website or blog and you will see the earnings quickly grow.

Now it's your turn to tell me,What tips have you used to increase your AdSense earnings ?

Make Money On Blogger With Google Affiliate Ads

Google Affiliate Ads
For bloggers AdSense is the main option when it comes to making money from blogs. In fact AdSense is the only option when it comes to target advertising on your blog. There are two reasons behind this, first under the AdSense terms and conditions (T.O.S.) you may only use one target advertising service on your blog or website.By target advertising what is meant is an Advertiser like AdSense that crawl your blogs content and deliver Ads based on the content of each page. The second reason AdSense is the only option for target advertising is the competition is at best poor. You can only use one so the smart money is on AdSense and not a competitor like Bidvertiser.

Types Of Ads That Can Be Used With AdSense

Directly Selling Advertising On Your Blog - You can sell ad space on your blog, you can sell the ad space directly or use an outside agency to sell the advertising for you.The outside agency like Buy sell ads provide you with "Advertise Here" banners and when people click they buy that space from the agency. The agency is a middleman and takes a cut for it's services. The problem with selling ad space or more to the point getting people to buy the ad space is you need traffic and lots of it.If your blog is not getting a few thousand page views a day its likely to be a waste of time as you wont find buyers.

Affiliate Advertising On Your Blog - Affiliate advertising works in a similar way to selling ad space, you place banner ads on your blog for other websites. The big difference is when you sell ad space you are paid Weekly/Monthly or for impressions with affiliate marketing you get paid when someone clicks and ad on your blog and buys a product or spends money on the advertisers website. You will get paid a commission and the commissions vary for each advertiser.

Some of the options for affiliate advertising include the popular Amazon which can be added automatically for Blogger users.Google have their affiliate branch (Of course) the Google option is the Google affiliate network and this can be connected with your AdSense account. In fact their is no shortage of affiliate marketplaces such as Clickbank and Commission Junction to name a few.

Search Targeted Advertising - While i do display affiliate ads from both clickbank and the Google affiliate network the advertiser i make most from after AdSense is Chitika.Chitika ads work on a Pay Per Click system like AdSense but because they target the ads in a different way you can use them along with AdSense.

How Chitika Ads Work - While AdSense crawl your blog and base the ads on the keywords and phrases used Chitika ads are based fully on search traffic.Once you Sign Up For Chitikaand add the code to your blog ads are only displayed to search traffic. So if someone finds this blog by searching Google for Blogger Tips they will be shown ads based on Blogger tips, if someone comes to this blog in any other way Chitika ads will not be displayed (You have the option to use filler ads).

I have Chitika ads in the sidebar of this blog right now - If you came here via a search engine you will see them, if you came directly or via any other link or feed they are not visible.

There is a bit more into the workings of Chitika ads that you can find out on their website or help pages.I would defiantly recommend checking it out and you can get all the extra information and sign up options here : Chitika Ad Network.
InfoRemember you can get all these tips sent directly to your email and stay a step ahead. Its a quick and easy service Provided for Free by Google.Just fill in the Email form below the post.
If you need extra help on this or any tutorial just leave a comment, I love comments and feedback so this Blog is Do-Follow - when you comment here it helps Your Blogs Google rank !
With any advertiser including AdSense traffic equals cash plain and simple. But you don't need to be getting monster amounts of traffic, a steady flow of a few hundred page views a day may help pay for your family holiday.

Are You A Poor Blogger? Here’s How Your Blog Can Make You Richer !

Monetize your blog
You can be considered a poor blogger if you’ve been in blogging business for over six months and you cannot make at least a hundred dollars per month. If you have been investing your time, money and intellect into your business and yourAdSense account is still in the reds, then you don’t have a success story.

How about having been on the Net for over two years and your Google AdSense account is no where near $50? Your guest is as good as mine. Blogging is supposed to be a full time business to a lot of people who are doing it; and when for months and years no tangible income comes into your pocket you are a poor blogger.

I know some would like to criticize me by saying that blogging success is not only measured by the amount of money one gets. They may want to excuse themselves by saying that success could be measured in terms of the number of people who have benefited directly or indirectly from your content.

But providing quality content and making others happy but you end up a debtor, with no money to renew your Internet subscription, pay your domain and hosting renewals and even feed yourself still does not translate to a success story.

If you are still in the categories mentioned above, here are a few things you could do to change you story:

6 Tips To Help Monetize Your Blog

1. Advertise yourself -  people are looking for help on several areas of difficulty. You already have a niche where you can provide solution to people’s problems. Why not take it further by advertising yourself on sites where people meet to look for help? Some of the sites where you tell people what you can do and get hired in fiverr, tenbux, tenrr dollar3, zeerk, etc. You can leverage on the site’s traffic and popularity and make your money to fund your blog and take care of other expenses.

2. Resell - Go and join established sites with recurrent service charges and become a reseller there. You can join sites like hostgator.com, godaddy.com, namecheap.com, etc. and begin to sell hosting packages to the numerous visitors to your blog.

3. Write for money -  the concept of your blog may not allow you to directly write for money. But as you see you blog grow, you need to join sites that allow you to do reviews and be paid for doing so. Some of them include: reviewme.com, sponsoredreview.com, loudlaunch.com, helium.com, thewittery.com, etc

4. Expand your scope -  Add other areas of interest to your blog. You can add solution providing segment to it. Instead of looking for who to pay you, why not be a little more creative. Create a part where people can come and advertise what they can do for money and take 5 to 10% of their charges. Pooling the small charges together would certainly make you richer. You provide the platform, others come to make money with your platform and the consumers get their satisfaction. A kind of win win situation for everyone.

5. Sell ad space - you can also money some revenue by providing a space for advertisers to place their ads. You either get involved in direct ad use advertising networks like Google adsense, Chitika, Kontera, Exitjunction, dynamic oxygen, etc.

6. Afiiliate programmes -  Create a page for your affiliate programmes and write a special presell on them. When your readers buy the products through your link you receive some percentage payment on the profit made. With few affiliate programmes you can get reasonable income right there on your blog.

Applying the right strategy and creative thinking can help get you out of the poverty zone as a blogger. When you use your quality content and professional looking blog to attract readers, you use your business management acumen to make income out of the high traffic you get.

Do you know of other good strategies to use to generate revenue with your blog? Share them with us; we would be glad to hear from you.

SEO Checklist
To me it’s still amazing that a cms like Wordpress can build you a professional looking site in a few minutes, my first site was built in Microsoft Frontpage and involved many long nights and a few tears! However just because it’s now easier to build a website doesn’t mean it’s easier to create one that is ultimately successful and makes money, because the success of a site is often down to the competition it faces from similar sites in the marketplace. The problem is that many webmasters assume that just because they have an attractive site with quality content that they will automatically rank at the top of Google for their chosen keywords. I’m not saying that good content won’t rise to the top but it can take quite a while to happen on its own and if your competition is established and also providing the information people are looking for where does that leave you?
